Follow these easy steps to get your Zanussi ZEBF 290 W Refrigerator up and running in no time.
Remove all securing tapes and packaging materials from the refrigerator. Ensure there are no visible damages and all parts are present for installation.
Wash the inside of the appliance using lukewarm water mixed with bicarbonate of soda (5 ml to 0.5 litre of water). Avoid using soap or detergent to prevent lingering odors. Dry thoroughly.
Place the refrigerator in a location where the ambient temperature matches the climate classification indicated on the rating plate. Ensure it is away from direct sunlight, cookers, radiators, or boilers.
After positioning, let the refrigerator stand for 2 hours before connecting it to the power supply. This allows the refrigerant to settle.
Plug in the appliance and switch on the power at the mains supply. Make sure the plug is accessible after installation.
Set the thermostat control knob to a midway setting (3-4) and adjust the air circulation slider control to a midway position between 'MIN' and 'MAX'.
The back of the appliance should be close to a wall but maintain a required distance for ventilation as per installation instructions.
The pilot light will illuminate once the appliance is operational. Leave the appliance for approximately 4 hours to reach the correct temperature before placing food inside.
Ensure the appliance is stable on the floor and adjust the feet if necessary. Confirm that all door seals make proper contact with the cabinet.
